Tony Jordan and Cindy Crayne reign now as King and Queen of Joliet Area Bowling, Jordan for the first time, Crayne for her sixth. But on Oct. 4 at the Greater Joliet Area Bowling Awards Dinner, it will be learned whether their rule will continue.

The 1996-97 performances in their bowling leagues, the two Association tournaments and the Will County Open will decide whether Jordan's and Crayne's crowns will stay in place.

His past season's top average was Joliet Bowling Association highest, a 224. Crayne held a record 216 average to merit Queen coronation last time; were her latest as high?
