MORRIS -- This city of 11,500 offers great living and great recreational opportunities, say officials.
Morris is located near Interstate 80, with convenient access to Interstate 55 as well, making it an easy commute for residents to employment or cultural opportunities in Chicago or Joliet.
Yet, the city is proud to have maintained its small-town atmosphere, with its schools and low crime rate.
"If you haven't visited Morris lately, you haven't visited Morris," Cathy Shinneman, executive director of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce, says.
"We have bowling, a 10-screen movie complex, and every kind of restaurant you could imagine, but we still feel like a small town."
