The city's list of annual attractions marches into a new year on April 5. The annual Easter Parade is scheduled in downtown Joliet. Thanks to lots of hard-working people, the City Center again will host several attractions for families.

The Easter Parade heralds spring's arrival.

Mark your calendar for 2 p.m. on April 5. That's the Sunday before Easter.

Wish Upon A Star is the host organization for the parade.

That group's motto says it all: "Making Special Wishes for Special Kids Come True."

The Easter Parade was launched with rousing success only a few years ago. It has grown each year and attracts bigger crowds.
