A panel of experts recently examined the future of Lake County and liked what they saw.
Their predictions for the 21st Century ranged from a vibrant economy with increased employment and a population in excess of 800,000, by 2020, to environmental advances, quality education and expanded recreation opportunities.
All agreed, however, these bullish outlooks will become bearish if people who work in Lake County must live outside it.
There are many housing options in Lake County -- if you can afford to pay from $200,000 to a million dollars for a home.
