JOLIET -- Sherry Tucker had a sense that Joliet could support another adult day-care center.
Local residents were clients of her day-care house in Tinley Park for the last six years.
And for two of those six years, the Senior Services Center of Will County helped her find a Joliet location.
So, Tucker spent $125,000 remodeling a 19th century Victorian house at 1 N. Center St. into a place where elderly people in need of continuous care can spend the day.
It's the fourth of her Golden Years day-care centers.
Tucker wasn't the only one with the idea that Joliet needed more adult day care.
