It's for kids like Briana Petrovic that the Wish Upon A Star Foundation sponsors an annual Easter Parade. Because of fund-raisers like this one, the foundation is able to send Briana, 2 1/2 , to Disney World.

"She likes Mickey and Minnie," said her mother, Jennifer Petrovic.

Even though Briana is unable to speak, she has been able to make the importance of these two characters in her life known.

"For her second birthday cake we asked her if she would like clowns or Mickey Mouse," said Petrovic.

"Every time we said Mickey Mouse, her face lit up and she got excited."

Briana suffers from Canavan's Disease, a genetic, degenerative disorder that causes acidity in the brain that dilutes the ...
