Article: WOLVES FALLS DESPITE 11 HITS

JOLIET -- Joliet Junior College could not take advantage of 11 hits and dropped a 9-2 baseball decision to Kankakee on Friday. The Wolves (8-13) received a 4-for-4 day from sophomore catcher Brendan Loughrey, who doubled twice.

Freshman third baseman Brian McDonald added three hits and Kirk Bedinger two for JJC. Bedinger had an RBI and Matt Eggert drove in the other runs with a double.

McDonald also doubled.

"Leaving too many runners on base has been a problem lately," said JJC coach Wayne King.

"We stranded 12 today and left 25 on base in two games this week.

We are not coming up with the key hit when we need it."
