NORTH AURORA -- AMF Valley Lanes here may be hit with a fine, suspension of its liquor license and six months of probation for a string of incidents involving underage drinking over the last few months. Village officials expect the bowling alley today to furnish a signed agreement that would allow it to forgo the village's formal hearing process.

"I'm assuming they're going to agree," Village President Mark Ruby said.

"I don't think they want to go through the hearing."

Ruby said the village's proposal was accepted informally when the parties met earlier this week.
