I've become obsessed with southern Lake Michigan's burgeoning bass fishery. I shouldn't be surprised. I've always had a penchant for conquering new fisheries regardless of the species of gamefish sought.

My passion with fishing for Lake Michigan smallmouth bass began two years ago.

It started in Indiana where I fished power plant cooling lakes from shore and industrial discharges from boats.

I began networking with astute anglers from Perch America, and in the spring of the year I could catch smallies up to five pounds.
