Article: NAPERVILLE CRIME STOPPERS SEEKS SUSPECT IN UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT

Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of as much as $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in a case of unlawful restraint that took place at approximately 10:40 p.m. July 14 near the Riverwalk Eatery, 441 Aurora Ave. A 15-year-old female was grabbed by the suspect from the telephone at the restaurant and relocated a short distance away to a wooded area by the river and near the Carillon.

The suspect stated that he had a knife, but none was seen.

The victim was able to break away and run back to her friends.

The suspect is described as male white, approximately 20 years old, 6-foot to 6-foot-3, with a muscular build, green eyes and long sideburns.
