Article: TWO INDICTED IN RECKLESS HOMICIDE CASES

ST. CHARLES -- A Kane County grand jury has indicted two area men accused of reckless homicide and other offenses in connection with separate incidents. The grand jury charged 24-year- old Jeremy Brannon, of the 400 block of Blackhawk Street, Aurora, with an additional count of reckless homicide and with driving an uninsured vehicle in the Sept. 10 death of Sgt. William Swanson, 46, a 20-year Kane County corrections employee.

Brannon initially was charged with one count of reckless homicide, aggravated drunken driving and driving in the wrong lane.

Swanson was driving to his North Aurora home from a late shift at the county jail when Brannon struck Swanson's car at Route 25 and Ridge Road ...
