Soon, Kari Schwager might need a caddie, someone to help her carry bowling balls as she travels through airports, from her home to the nearest alley, from school to practice. Right now, Schwager can handle the load--five balls that she carries around in three bowling bags, two that have wheels.

An Oswego High sophomore, she is one of the Chicago area's top girls bowlers.

This season, she has a 191 average.

Schwager, and most of the Aurora area's other top boys and girls bowlers, believe they bowl better when they use different balls for different conditions.
