Truman State University coach Becky Eggering told the truth when it came to selling her volleyball program to Monica Marlowe. A walk around the Kirksville, Mo., campus and a simple sentence from Eggering was basically all it took for Marlowe to pack her bags and call TSU's Pershing Arena her new home.

"I really wanted to go some place where I would play right away," Marlowe said, "and (Eggering) told me that I would have that opportunity."
