Superstar MacClugage faces uphill battle in quest to win title A year ago, Chris MacClugage was the hunted. This weekend at Illinois Beach State Park, the jet-ski superstar is the hunter.

After winning the inaugural McGraw Insurance Cup -- awarded annually to the most proficient competitor on the International Jet Sports Boating Association national tour -- the 26-year-old finds himself in second place going into Sunday's final day of racing for the Y2K.

Currently, he is chasing Nicolas Rius of France in the rider point standings 1,405.5-1,267.5.

The two will go head-to-head on Sunday in the Pro Runabout and Pro Ski races, and MacClugage not only needs to win both races, but he needs Rius ...
