If you've ever looked for an activity program for a wee tot, say a 6-month-old, and frustratingly come up with zip, The Little Gym in Gurnee may be your cure.
There you'll find parent/adult classes for babes as young as 4 months, motor skills classes for older kids, birthday party facilities and a number of unique services that have special appeal to parents.
The Little Gym is one in an international chain but the only one of its kind in Illinois.
Assistant director Marjuanna Tomek said that the Gurnee Little Gym, open since February 1994, is basically a motor skills development program for youths from 4 months to 12 years old.
