Despite its poor shooting for the past three weeks, Woodstock managed to pull out another Fox Valley Conference a 56-51 victory over tenacious Crystal Lake South on Friday night in the Blue Streaks' new gym.
But it took two overtime periods to do it.
Senior Wes Stock saved the Blue Streaks from their third FVC loss when he hit a 3-point bucket to tie the game at 45 with 23 seconds left in regulation.
In the first overtime, Stock (16 points) put the Blue Streaks up 47-45, but South's Rob Niemic (12 points) followed with a layup to tie the game at 47.
Stock put Woodstock ahead 49-47 with 2-minutes, 22 seconds left in overtime.
