A Naperville man kicked off the spring election ballot has called for the resignation of a Naperville City Council member and the city clerk. Rick Romano, who was ousted from the ballot last week for not having the required number of signatures required for candidacy, told The Sun on Monday that he believes Councilman Peg Price and City Clerk Suzanne Gagner should resign.

He called for their resignation before council members Tuesday, but Price was absent.

Price and Gagner were two of the three members of the city panel that determined that several of the signatures on Romano's nominating petitions were invalid.
