Grilled cheese sandwiches are year-round comfort food and apparently as popular as ever, judging from the 3,000 entries received in the American Dairy Association's recent recipe contest called "Mr. Food's Grilled Cheese to the Rescue." The winning recipes include a pita filled with grilled portabella mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and cheese, and the following sandwich, a crabmeat and cheese combination. A leaflet, featuring all the winning recipes, is free to consumers.
