The 16th annual Eyes to the Skies festival will highlight a sport Tim Allen discovered years ago: lawn mower racing.
The Eyes to the Skies festival will present, for the first time, the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association-sanctioned STA-BIL Firecracker Mowdown in the afternoon on July 4 and 5.
The Firecracker Mowdown will be featured among the traditional fireworks, balloon launches, carnival rides, craft fair and nightly entertainment that has made Eyes to the Skies the second largest festival in the state after Taste of Chicago.
