Article: SUPERVISOR SAYS BANQUET HALL HAS `TURNED AROUND'

Despite a year filled with investigations which reached all the way to the state level, DuPage Township Supervisor Bob Schanks said on Tuesday that the township's banquet hall facilities "have been turned around." According to Schanks, recent reports indicate total banquet profits, not including overhead, of about $990 in April and $3,578 in May.

"Although I didn't have a chance to calculate the numbers yet for June, this seems to be a pattern.

The banquets are being turned around," Schanks said.

All profits from the banquet hall will be transferred to the Friends of the Levy Center, which funds senior activities, he added.
