Certified public accountants will be available to explain the new tax law changes -- part of the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997 -- and answer questions at free briefings open to the public.
The briefings will be offered at the Illinois CPA Society's 1997 Midwest Accounting & Business Show, Aug. 26 through Aug. 28, at the Rosemont Convention Center, in Rosemont.
The one-hour briefings will be offered all three days of the show -- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday -- from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
To educate tax professionals about the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997, the Illinois CPA Society has also added two tax updates to the 1997 Midwest Accounting and Business Show line-up. The updates will be offered ...
