The Rev. Hugh Fullmer, pastor of St. Joseph Church in Lockport, will celebrate 25 years as a priest on Tuesday, Nov. 18. He will be the main celebrant at the 11:30 a.m. Mass in the Chapel of St. Joseph School on Fifth and Madison streets Sunday, Nov. 16, to celebrate his 25th anniversary.
Fullmer was born in Evanston, Ill., on Aug. 20, 1946. He grew up in Elmhurst and graduated from Immaculate Conception Grade School.
He entered the seminary at Quigley in Chicago in 1960 and graduated in 1964. He spent two years at Niles College, from 1964 to 1966, and two years at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, graduating from Lewis University in 1968. He studied theology for two years at Conception ...
