Article: NAPERVILLE CRIME STOPPERS INFORMATION WANTED ON AGGRAVATED BATTERY

Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in a recent aggravated battery incident that occurred on the sidewalk near 1135 W. Ogden Ave. On Nov. 5 at 3:20 p.m., a 6-year-old girl and her two sisters were walking on the sidewalk north of Ogden Avenue, proceeding east.

At the same time, a black minivan was driving east on Ogden Avenue, when a passenger in the van threw an unknown type of plastic bottle containing a gooey liquid.

The bottle was thrown at the girls, striking the 6-year-old on the face and injuring her.

She was taken to Edward Hospital for treatment.
