Article: NO MORE FEE WAIVERS AT LEVY CENTER BANQUET HALL

DuPage Township is not in the business of granting waivers to community groups for events that take place at the township's Levy Center, Supervisor Bob Schanks said during a meeting Tuesday. Recently, the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce and Local Development Corporation requested that the township waive all rental fees and provide a free open bar for its members at an after-hours gathering scheduled at the Levy Center for Friday, Dec. 12. On Tuesday, Schanks said there will be "no waiving or bending" of the township's current policy which requires a $50 bar set-up fee and a $150 rental fee.
