Article: DUPAGE TOWNSHIP BOARD SPLITS ON BANQUET HALL ACCOUNTING

DuPage Township Board members voted 3-2 on Tuesday to revisit a commitment made by the board to "pay back" the town fund for overhead and salary expenses incurred through banquet hall operations in the 1997-98 fiscal year. "We need to have a year-end account of the overhead and salaries for the banquet hall so that all of this is documented," said Trustee Ann Dralle. Earlier in the year, board members allocated a $5 overhead charge for each event held at the township's banquet hall to cover the cost of utilities. These revenues have not yet been returned to the town fund, and this situation must be reviewed on March 31, which is the last board meeting of this fiscal year, Dralle said.
