Article: PARK DISTRICT VOWS TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATION WITH CITY

As summer winds down, the Naperville Park District is feeling the heat. City Council members lashed out at the Park District this week, saying the district has kept them in the dark about three of its major expansion plans, including two that involve building on city-owned land.

"We need more information on everything," said council member Margaret "Peg" Price.

The Park District's agenda includes:


• a proposed skate park to be built on land just west of Safety Town, in front of the Naperville Police station at 1350 Aurora Ave.;
