Like mother, like son.
Richard's Siegel's mother was the organist at St. Mary's Church in Plainfield.
Now, Siegel makes some divine music of his own.
When Saturday evenings arrive, Siegel trades in his voluminous law books for a simple hymnal.
During the week, Siegel is an assistant Illinois attorney general dealing with a broad spectrum of cases.
By weekend, he is an organist and choirmaster at St. Joseph's Church in Manhattan and at Holy Cross Church in Joliet.
On occasion, he also acts as the staff carillonneur at Rockefeller Chapel at the University of Chicago.
