The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Rotary Club gave $500 to Jacobs High School to purchase computer software for the school's art program. Linda Robinson, principal of Jacobs High School, and 35 students from the Jacobs Interact Club were presented the check at the Rotary Club meeting.

The Rotary Club will also be sending three students to a Rotary Youth Leadership program for three days at Camp Edwards in East Troy, Wis., in March.
