Felix and Cassandra Santos announce the birth of their first son, Ginovanni Martin Antonio.
Born at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville on Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999, Ginovanni weighed 8 pounds.
He was welcomed to his Waukegan home by two big sisters, Kassandra, 4, and Bianca, 1. The maternal grandparents are James and Diane Fier of Roselle.
The paternal grandparents are Ramona and Ronald Plemmons of Richmond, Va. The maternal great-grandparents are Edward and Barb Fier of Mundelein.
