Article: OPINIONS SPLIT ON SIZE OF LOCKER ROOMS

Concerns and frustrations over the size of the boys' physical education locker rooms that are being built came to a head during a recent Community Unit District 200 School Board meeting in Woodstock. Members of the faculty liaison committee -- a subcommittee of teachers from the Woodstock High School Building Betterment and Expansion Committee -- and the architects working on the construction project were able to find compromises on several other issues.

But the committee and several physical education instructors are still not happy with the size of the boys' locker rooms.

"It's undersized," social studies teacher and committee spokesman John Headley told the board at its April 15 meeting.
