It's becoming a common dilemma on Naperville's southwest side, where city, county, township and school district boundaries criss-cross one another like threads in a spider web: Residential development that looks like a single unit falls within more than one school district.
While the issue isn't entirely new, it's becoming more complex because of the area's growth.
Naperville developer Macom Corp.'s attempts to have the 160.5-acre High Meadow South subdivision annexed into Indian Prairie School District 204 is the latest of several attempts to "even out" school district boundaries within subdivisions.
