The 13 crosses that Aurora carpenter Greg Zanis built to honor the students and teacher killed in Littleton, Colo. will be displayed from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at the Naperville Riverwalk Pavillion near Jackson Avenue and Webster Street.
This will be the only time the crosses will be displayed in Illinois, Zanis said.
More than 125,000 people visited the site where the crosses were displayed in Littleton, and the wooden memorials contain messages inscribed by visitors.
Zanis and guest speakers will attend the June 5 showing to discuss issues such as prayer in public schools.
On Wednesday, Zanis left his home near Aurora and headed once again to Littleton.
