Article: COUNTY JUDGE TO SEEK APPELLATE COURT SEAT

After 2 1/2 years in Will County court, Associate Judge Tom Dunn is ready to move on to the appellate court. Dunn, who currently hears small claims cases, announced Tuesday that he was running as a Democrat for the Ottawa-based Third District Appellate Court in the 2000 elections.

Dunn was a state senator from 1987 to 1997 when he resigned his legislative post to become an associate judge.

He also was a partner in legal firm of Dunn, Martin and Miller for 25 years.
