AURORA -- Rush-Copley Medical Center has scheduled its annual tribute to cancer survivors for June 24.
The Cancer Survivors Day will include a luncheon to honor survivors of cancer at noon at the Rush-Copley Healthplex Fitness Center, 1900 Ogden Ave., Aurora.
The luncheon will be followed by a presentation by comedian-juggler-author and cancer survivor Scott Burton, concluding at 2:30 p.m.
More than 900 cancer survivors have been invited to the ninth annual event, which is part of a national celebration to honor cancer survivors and those who support them and to call attention to the issues of cancer survivorship.
