Congratulations to former New Lenox resident Johan Reinhard.
He was named as one of Ford Motor Company's Heroes For The Planet 2001.
According to Ford's Web site, Heroes For The Planet is "an ongoing Ford Motor Company initiative that honors people with the vision and courage to make our world a better place in areas such as education, community and the environment.
All of them, in ways both big and small, are leaving their marks for generations to come.
"Our Heroes come from all corners of the globe, all walks of life, all ages.
But what they share is a determination to make our world a better place for generations to come in areas such as the environment, community and education.
