Naperville officials have launched an electronic method for customers to pay their utility bills. Called "Naperville e-bill," the free service is designed to offer a secure way to pay utility bills without having to write a check or drive to the post office.

The service, which began March 1, provides the user with an electronic version of the paper bill, which residents can view on the city's Web site, www.naperville.il.us. Payment is completed using a secure login process.
