Although the sun has set on the American Girls Revue, fans can take heart: a new show is waiting in the wings to take its place. The title of the new show is Circle of Friends: An American Girls Musical.

It will premiere Sept. 28. Tickets are on sale.

Like the first show, the cast will be comprised of girls from the Chicago area.

Two girls from Homer Glen have already been chosen: Andrea Giles, 15, and Kelli LaValle, 12. Both have been performing with the American Girls Revue for the past three years.

There are three casts that have already been chosen for the new show.

Another round of open auditions will be in January or February and girls can check the web site for more details about ...
