Elgin Miss Puerto Rico sought
The Puerto Rican Parade Committee of Elgin is accepting applications for the 2000 Miss Puerto Rico Pageant.
Candidates must be between the ages of 4 and 12 for the princess category, and between 16 and 23 for the queen category.
Candidates also must be of Puerto Rican descent and be available to participate in community activities and events.
If you are interested or know someone who would make a good candidates, call Debbie Rodriguez at (847) 468-1757. The deadline to register is Feb. 29.
