Steppin' Out / Betty Brown Founders Brunch celebrates ECC anniversary in style The president and board of trustees of Elgin Community invited guests to close ECC's 50th anniversary celebrations and get the 21st century off to a great start by enjoying the second annual Founder's Brunch -- And All That Jazz.

Picture this, if you will, 200 or more guests packed the ECC foyer and cocktail area for an afternoon that would tax even the most energetic partygoers.

New Orleans is often called "America's most interesting city." And much like New Orleans, the Business Conference Center at the main campus was transformed into a beautiful New Orleans Mardi Gras festival.
