Police Report Elgin Handgun stolen from home A man told police a .357-caliber Magnum handgun was stolen from his home Wednesday night, police said.

Juan Cardenas, of 1172 Hunter Drive, reported Thursday that the $250 gun was missing from his home.

Cardenas said he left the garage door to his home open Tuesday night when he took his wife to her job.

Later that night, he noticed the gun missing from a dresser drawer.
