Chicago cops hunt for killer of Elgin man [ ] Bike messenger? Confrontation may have preceded death zB1 By Mike Danahey STAFF WRITER
Past a snow-dusted Nativity set on the frozen lawn, inside a home on the outskirts of Elgin, a family gathered in shock and disbelief Thursday, trying to make sense of the murder of a husband and father.
According to Chicago police reports, Keith P. Radloff, 51, died late Wednesday night, hours after getting pushed down a flight of stairs outside Chicago's Union Station by an unknown assailant who police believe may be a bike messenger.
A family member said doctors fought for hours to save Radloff.
