ST. CHARLES -- Two Campton Township poll watchers have been fined and sentenced to court supervision for their actions in the April 1997 election.

Craig Goeske, 46, a former Campton Township trustee, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct last week and was given three months of supervision and a $100 fine.

In a separate case, Richard Johansen, 56, chairman of the Campton Township Republican Party, also was found guilty of disorderly conduct.

He was fined $75 and received three months of court supervision.

The disorderly conduct charges stemmed from complaints that they had intimidated election judges.
