When winter begins its final thaw later this month and exposes fall's leftovers, Sue Wieszchowski's problems will start.

As the mercury rises and people emerge from hibernation to clean their yards, they also will start burning leaves and twigs.

Wieszchowski, who suffers from chronic asthma, will have to increase her dosage of medication to catch her breath.
