OSWEGO -- Police here and other authorities raided a home in far northwestern Illinois this week and seized computer equipment they believe was used to distribute child pornography over the Internet.
Charges are pending against the suspect, who lives near the Illinois-Wisconsin border in unincorporated Stephenson County.
Oswego police Sgt. Dwight Baird said authorities plan to charge the man as soon as police fully examine the evidence, which includes printers, a scanner, a digital camera and hundreds of computer disks.
He said the suspect could face charges in Kendall County for distribution of child pornography and in Stephenson County for possession of child pornography.
