St. Charles resident Marce Van Glabek recently celebrated her 40th anniversary of selling real estate in the Tri-Cities area.
In all those years, I knew she had seen substantial changes in the Fox River Valley and the real estate business.
When we sat down to chat in the conference room at Coldwell Banker Primus Realty in Geneva, I was all set to ask her to think back to her very first sale and tell me about it.
But before I could ask that question, she slid a photograph across the table to me.
In the picture were Van Glabek, five other adults and six boys in white shirts and black neckties.
