Located in Joliet, Deer Run is a secluded townhome and duplex community built by Phoenix Developers in the early 1990s.
"Even though we are close to all the shopping and dining we need, it is like we are living in the country here at Deer Run because of the setting," says Lois Dyer, president of Deer Run's homeowners' association.
The community is situated in a wooded area, among many trees, which draws a variety of wildlife -- including the deer for which the community is named.
Deer Run is located on the frontage road, between U.S. 52 and Black Road, just off Jefferson.
