Fredenhagen Park is to be built along the Riverwalk on the former Cock Robin property. The site plan above was unveiled Thursday during a fund-raising breakfast.

The Riverwalk Foundation's campaign to raise $400,000 for the construction of Fredenhagen Park is gaining momentum. Nearly 60 people attended a "brainstorming" breakfast at the Naperville Country Club on Thursday morning.

The event was open to anyone interested in participating in fund-raising efforts for the 1.1-acre park to be built along the Riverwalk on Washington Street.

The park will be built on the former site of the Cock Robin ice-cream parlor.
