I, too, agree that Antioch is unique in its many ways.
I also feel it is time for Antioch to go forward, be smart, and allow commercial development to enter our area.
I feel the property and sales tax money that our village and schools will reap from these developments will outweigh the negative impact to our area.
We need to be smart.
You must realize if the developments do not come to our town, they will build adjacent to our area.
We will have the traffic, but no tax input for our village and our schools, which is definitely needed.
I, as many of you, go out of town to shop, and spend money supporting other communities.
I feel competition is good for our area.
