WILLIAM F. MEYER WINS TWO ON WAY TO TITLE CONTEST William F. Meyer opened the AA Pony League playoffs with a win against Coldwell Banker on July 8. Doubles by Ryan Hegy, Bryan Miko and Kurt Paczkowski, along with a single from Nick Krawiec gave Meyer a six-run lead by the end of the first inning. Coldwell Banker scored three runs in the second inning, but Brian Hennessy scored off a single.

Meyer had another big inning in the third with doubles by Hennessy and Mike Goodman.

Singles by Brent Sandstrom, Adam Ford, Ben Bartell, Bryan Miko and Kurt Paczkowski and Ryan Hegy helped seal the 16-6 win for Meyer.

Meyer defeated Mail Box Works 10-4 on July 10 in the second game of the playoffs.
