Article: Caton Farm Road project in works

Construction crews will begin a county project in the spring to widen and add lanes to Caton Farm Road at Route 59 and Drauden Road. The Will County Board last week approved an agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation to help fund the construction, which will cost about $6 million, said Sheldon Latz, county engineer.

Engineers are planning a total reconstruction of the intersection of Caton Farm Road and Route 59, adding north and south turn lanes to Route 59 and widening Caton Farm Road west to the end of the golf course, Latz said.
